So, with the now available 99 cent rentals, I decided to test it out, and rented a sneak peak for Bones, season 6. When you download a rent, you have 30 days to start watching it. After you’ve watched that episode, you have 24 hours to watch it as many times as you want.
I couldn’t figure out why Apple decided to go with the all gray interface ’till now.
When the rental has less than 24 hours left to be seen… it turns red! Smart cookies at Apple. They let me know when my rentals are going to expire. I bet it’s going to be the same for Movies and TV Shows!
I’m growing to love the gray look for iTunes. Makes it all about the media and not the app.
