Oh wow! It’s been a long month since I updated properly the blog. Long story short: since I got back in Late January from Upstate New York, I’ve been working non-stop on several projects and clients: photo gigs, logo and label design work for another client… and the one I’m the most excited about: The Foodies’ Kitchen.

A few months ago, I wrote a post about Recipe Apps on the Mac, trying to figure out what was the best app for my recipe needs. The only thing I’d have to add to that post right now is the lack of WordPress support on the publishing site. You can make a MobileMe recipe site but I find WP a much stronger platform for blogging.

As yo can see, the idea of a food and recipe blog has been on the works for a few months. With a guatemalan friend, we’ve been sharing recipes and tips from NY to Guatemala, so her husband and my boyfriend both said “You both should start a blog” so this April we said yes to the challenge. It has taken a few weeks to get from the site tree, logo and  design of the blog, the specs, twitter account (@twofoodies), a Flick account and some organizing to get the site ready for launch. We’re hopping for a Friday launch.
